Every dog deserves to be loved Every dog deserves to be loved Every dog deserves to be loved

Save the Dogs and other Animals E.T.S Foundation works to combat stray animal populations and improve the quality of life for owned dogs and cats, particularly in challenging social environments. Since 2002, it has been active in Romania, a country where the issue of stray animals is a significant social problem. Since 2019, it has also been active in Southern Italy with a program offering free sterilization in collaboration with local associations and veterinarians, and from 2021, it has launched the first program to assist animals owned by the homeless or low-income individuals in Milan. Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the foundation has been involved in a program to help animals left in the country by distributing food and sterilizing dogs and cats.

The Project

This year, we are proud to support their latest project, “Impronte in famiglia,” a transformative initiative aimed at helping abandoned dogs overcome trauma and
adapt to family life more swiftly.

The “Impronte in famiglia” area at their shelter in Romania will feature a “living room” setup, mirroring a typical household environment. This space is designed to ease the transition into domestic life, particularly for dogs that have experienced trauma. It will be equipped with familiar furniture items like sofas, carpets, and even a TV, creating a serene and welcoming environment. This setting plays a crucial role in preparing the dogs for a future in a loving home, making it a pivotal step for the numerous dogs Save the Dogs rescues each year. Through our support of this project, we are helping to pave the way for these animals to find their forever homes where they can thrive and be loved.
