This year, we’ve decided to celebrate Christmas 2024 with Oxfam by contributing, through the sales of our Alma Tote Bag in Bamboo, to programs aimed at empowering women in entrepreneurship. These programs strengthen women's autonomy, enhance their skills, and increase their economic and decision-making power, helping them grow socially and economically while improving the conditions of their families and communities.
For every purchase of the Alma Tote Bag in Bamboo, Miomojo will donate 10% of the sale price to support women empowerment projects, providing support and training to help women develop their entrepreneurial ideas.
This campaign is more relevant than ever, as it combines the reflection on the importance of increasingly ethical and sustainable fashion with the desire to provide concrete responses to the gender gap, a key objective outlined in the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda.

Over the past two years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting Oxfam by donating bags from our previous collections, giving these products a new life and contributing to a significant impact.
The funds raised from the sale of the donated bags directly support impactful Oxfam programs, including initiatives to promote women’s education, create economic opportunities, and assist survivors of gender-based violence. As a women-led company, we believe in the power of collective action to make meaningful improvements to women’s rights and challenge the status quo.

In 2024, thanks to the Oxfam Shops network in Ireland and the UK (Oxfam Ireland and Oxfam GB), we are proud to announce that over €80,000 has been raised, a figure expected to exceed €100,000 by the end of the year. The funds raised in these Oxfam Shops support Oxfam’s programs, including women empowerment and gender justice initiatives, as well as WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) programs to provide clean water and sanitation during emergencies.

Here’s what we’ve helped achieve so far:
The funds raised contribute to delivering nearly 5 million liters of
water and washbasins in areas where clean water is urgently needed
following sudden or prolonged emergencies.
The presence of Miomojo products, ethically crafted and of high quality,
in Oxfam Ireland and UK shops has helped promote ethical shopping,
inspiring a commitment to more sustainable choices.
The funds raised contribute to supporting Oxfam’s WASH programs during humanitarian emergencies.
NO WASTE PHILOSOPHY
We have decided to continuously donate products from previous collections to Oxfam to give these items a new life, reducing environmental impact and supporting the principle of no waste. These products, sold through Oxfam Shops in Ireland and the UK, contribute not only to Oxfam’s programs but also to fostering more conscious consumption.
