The journey begins with grinding the olive pomace to an acceptable particle size. This is then mixed with roughly 26 percent polyurethane (PU) and applied to a tearresistant roll of cotton fabric. The roll is then heated to produce a weather-resistant, durable fabric. Finally, the fabric is embossed to allow for different surface textures. And that’s it: this is how Olive Skin is created. Thanks to its production process and biomass, it reduces carbon emissions by at least six times compared to traditional petroleum-based materials.
