Made from upcycled olive pomace, this material is part of a new generation of textiles designed to reduce environmental impact. It all begins with olive pomace, a by-product of the food industry, which is ground down to fine particles. This biomass is then mixed with a percentage of polyurethane (PU) and applied to a tear-resistant cotton fabric. The roll is subsequently heated to make it durable and weather-resistant, and finally embossed to create refined surface textures.
This is how Olive Skin™ is born: an innovative and circular material, with a bio-based composition of up to 80%, capable of reducing carbon emissions by at least six times compared to traditional petroleum-based synthetic materials.
