This Impact Report is not a collection of intentions. It is a precise record of the decisions we made and the impact they generated. Each collection, collaboration and design choice responds to the same guiding question that continues to shape our work: what if fashion could be conceived differently.
Impact by decision.
The year 2024 marked an important chapter for Miomojo, a year defined by clarity, consolidation and tangible progress. Across disciplines, we expanded our work, deepened our research into bio-based materials and refined a design approach where responsibility and aesthetics evolve together.
A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER.
Every path is shaped by decisions. When those decisions are guided by purpose, each step begins to carry weight. In 2024, Miomojo continued along its path, guided by the same principles that have defined it from the beginning: designing with care, innovating with intention and imagining a culture of fashion able to evolve beyond harm. This year marked a shift. Not in direction, but in depth. We expanded our research into advanced materials, strengthened our development processes and entered collaborations that invited us to think further and act with greater consistency.
From sport, with Udinese Calcio, to direct engagement with Sea Shepherd; from inclusion through our partnership with AIPD to circular responsibility with Humana. Each encounter became an opportunity to translate values into practice. Throughout the year we shared our work across different contexts, built connections with organisations that share the same sense of urgency and opened conversations that extend beyond the product itself. In every space, physical or digital, one conviction remained constant: ethics and aesthetics are not in conflict. They reinforce one another.
We live in a time that asks forboth vision and courage. Repeating familiar models is no longer an option when regeneration is required. For this reason we will continue to question, refine and evolve, learning step by step. This Impact Report is not a celebration. It is a working document. A record of decisions taken and of progress that continues to unfold. Like any meaningful path, it is not perfect. But it is conscious, grounded and real. My thanks go to everyone who has supported, challenged and accompanied us so far, and to those who will join the chapters ahead.
Claudia
Founder & CEO, Miomojo
Our work is guided by clear directions, not as statements, but as a framework for responsible action. People and rights remain at the centre. Materials evolve through quiet research and continuous development. Respect for the planet and for all forms of life informs every decision. And a long-term vision seeks to contribute to a more balanced and responsible economy.
These are not slogans. They are the principles that shape our choices every day. They form the foundation of how we design, collaborate and move forward. In 2024, they were not simply declared. They were lived.
The four foundations.
Innovation, evolving.
Every material is a statement. The choice of material defines the meaning of what we create. In 2024, 50% of our materials were bio-based, derived from agricultural by-products such as orange, olive, bamboo and rice. 32% came from recycled sources, 13% from certified natural fibres, and 5% from emerging innovations including mycelium, grape, tea and marble.
Throughout the year we introduced four collections, each dedicated to a single material language, each with its own texture, character and design perspective. These materials are not simply components of a product. They are the visible expression of a clear intention.
Impact, measured.
We do not measure impact to accept it. We work to reduce it. In 2024, 27% of our air freight was transported using sustainable aviation fuel through the dhl gogreen plus programme, reducing co₂ intensity by 24.7%.
Travel was reconsidered wherever possible, favouring trains over flights and choosing economy class even on long-distance routes. Logistics processes were refined across multiple levels, while the transition toward reusable e-commerce packaging began to take shape. Change does not happen in abstraction. It happens in grams saved, kilometres avoided and decisions repeated over time.

Dignity, protected.
Social impact is not intention. It is consequence. In 2024, more than 2,000 products were donated to Oxfam, generating over €100,000 to support concrete initiatives. These contributions helped provide access to clean drinking water for more than 11,000 people in Yemen, while supporting education, healthcare programmes and agricultural initiatives for vulnerable communities.
The year also marked the beginning of a path of inclusion through collaboration with AIPD, the Italian Association for People with Down Syndrome. Giulia joined our team, contributing each day to the rhythm of our work. At the same time, our
vision entered academic spaces, where we shared tools, questions and responsibilities with the next generation. Inclusion is not explained. It is lived. Education is not optional. It is a responsibility.
Responsibility, lived.
Each year, 10% of our profits support organisations dedicated to protecting animals, biodiversity and human dignity. In 2024, this commitment took form through Guardians of the Sea, a collaboration with Sea Shepherd and the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE. The limited edition gift box was crafted from yarn made of regenerated marine plastic, transforming recovered waste into purposeful design.
Twenty percent of the proceeds were donated to Sea Shepherd to support the protection of Mediterranean octopuses and the ecosystems that sustain them. Our support also continued for organisations such as FOUR PAWS, Save the Dogs, Animal Equality, Capra Libera Tutti and PETA through concrete and traceable actions. For us, activism is not a gesture. It is an act of care.
Future, unfolding.
The most meaningful shifts often appear where they are least expected. In 2024, our vision moved beyond the boundaries of fashion and entered new contexts such as sport, mobility, tourism and hospitality.
Together with Udinese Calcio we created a sport capsule developed from olive-based materials. With Porsche Bergamo we introduced a travel bag made from rice-based compositions, designed for those who move the future forward. Collaborations with leading hotels and wineries further expanded this dialogue through thoughtful partnerships and conscious gifting.
In 2025, this path reaches another milestone with our presence in the official Emmys® Giving Suite alongside PETA USA. We continue forward with the same attitude that guides our design. Because today, luxury is no longer a destination. It is a way of moving through the world.
The Miomojo Foundation is not a destination. It is a horizon. A long-term vision that looks beyond the object itself and invests in innovation, education and a more responsible culture of design. It imagines a future space where research into cruelty-free materials meets learning, care and shared knowledge.
The Foundation is conceived as an open platform for schools and universities, a place where ideas can develop freely and where education becomes part of a broader cultural movement. It is also imagined as a refuge for animals, a space where protection and compassion take tangible form.
This is our understanding of luxury looking forward: a beauty that extends beyond form, an intelligence that remains in dialogue with reality and a kindness that slowly becomes structure. The Foundation does not yet exist as a place. It exists as a guiding star, a vision that continues to orient our path with coherence, responsibility and intention.
